Mentorship
Free, one-to-one, and aimed at 1% better each week.
For men 18 and over. We’re exploring options for younger men, so ask us on a Monday night.
A man who’s been there, walking with you
Any man who wants to grow can ask for a mentor, and it’s free.
It’s not a course and it’s not a lecture. It’s a relationship with someone who has battle scars and is still walking. We’ll match you with a mentor suited to the season you’re in, and together you’ll aim for 1% better each week: small, steady steps that add up to a different life.
Whatever season you’re in
Or simply: “I’m stuck and I don’t want to stay here.”
How it works
Put your hand up
Fill in the form below, or talk to one of the leaders after a Monday night.
Have a chat
A short conversation about where you’re at and what kind of help you need.
Get matched
We pray and match you as thoughtfully as we can. Where it helps, you choose from a few mentors whose stories fit yours.
Meet regularly
Agree a rhythm together, such as coffee monthly or a call each fortnight. Review after about three months.
What you can expect
- A mentor who listens before he advises
- Regular check-ins on a rhythm you agree together
- Prayer, accountability and real-world wisdom, not polished theory
- Confidentiality, within normal pastoral and safety limits
What we ask of you
- Be honest about what’s actually going on
- Try the next small step between catch-ups
- Say clearly what kind of support you need
- Keep coming on Mondays. Mentorship runs alongside the circle, not instead of it.
And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others.
Ask for a mentor
Wanting to grow is enough of a start. Fill this in and we’ll be in touch within a few days.
Offer to mentor
Not finished, just a bit further along.
This is for you if you’ve walked through something hard and found God faithful, you’re still doing the work yourself, and you’re willing to give time so another man doesn’t walk alone.
You’re committing to praying for the man you walk with, meeting regularly for a season (about three months, then review), being there for honest conversation, and pointing him to Jesus, Scripture and wise help when something is beyond you.
You’re not signing up to be his only support or his counsellor, have all the answers, or commit forever with no review.
Mentors must hold a current WA Working With Children Check. We’ll need to see it before anyone is matched.
A word on trust
We honour confidentiality and we don’t gossip. If something raises a serious safety concern, we’ll involve the right people, because love protects.
Mentors aren’t counsellors. When something needs professional help, we’ll help you find it.
