A men’s ministry of Gateway Community Church, Perth

Monday nights for men carrying more than they let on.

About a dozen blokes in a circle at Gateway. We say what’s actually going on, pray for each other, and someone checks in with you on Tuesday.

No one should walk it alone.

Work, marriage, kids, money, faith, old wounds, habits you can’t shake. Most men carry it quietly, and most of us have tried that and found it doesn’t work.

The Outpost is where you can stop pretending. Nobody here has it sorted. We’re a group of men who keep showing up for each other, trying to follow Jesus one week at a time.

What you’ll find: honesty, brotherhood, accountability, direction, and Jesus at the centre.

Three ways in

Turn up on a Monday

Sit in the circle. Talk if you want to, listen if you don’t. No one will put you on the spot on your first night.

What happens on Monday

Get a mentor

Free and one-to-one, matched to where you’re at in life. The aim is small: 1% better each week.

How mentoring works

Mentor someone

Been through something hard and found God faithful in it? There’s a younger bloke who needs what you learned.

Offer to mentor
Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.
Ecclesiastes 4:12 (NIV)

You don’t need to have it together. Just turn up.

Mondays, 7:30 to 9:30pm, at 63 Spencer Street, Cockburn Central WA 6164.
